📌 Project & Submission Requirements
To participate in Build From Scratch — Season I, every team/individual must submit:
1. GitHub Repository

A public GitHub repo containing:

Source code of the system you built

A clear README describing:

What you built
-
How it works internally

How to run it
-
Any architecture diagrams or explanations

2. Project Description

A well-written explanation of the system’s working
-
Highlight what was built from scratch, the core logic, and the unique engineering challenges solved
3. Demo Video (max 5 minutes)

Upload a short video walkthrough explaining:

What the project does
-
How it works internally
-
Key components, algorithms, and design choices
-

You may upload to YouTube/Drive and share the link in your submission
4. Submission Deadline

This hackathon focuses on learning, originality, and foundational engineering—every participant is recognized for building something real from zero.
đź§ Judging Criteria & Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated based on:
1. Technical Depth (30%)
How much of the system is truly built from scratch?
Use of algorithms, data structures, and low-level logic.
2. Originality & Ambition (25%)
Uniqueness of the idea and how ambitious the chosen system is.
3. Clarity of Explanation (25%)
Quality of the README and 5-minute video:
Does it clearly explain how the system works internally?
4. Working Demo & Execution (20%)
Does the project run?
Is the system stable, functional, and demonstrable?
Winner Selection

Judges will review the GitHub repo, documentation, and video

Scores from all criteria will be combined
-
The top-scoring project will be declared the Season I Winner
